Felt copy-ball

In TU Eindhoven my first hands-on tryout intuitively was to try to felt some electronics to create soft and somehow human-friendly interface.

This felt-ball  has a magnetic switch, battery, felted battery-clip, 2 led-s inside, and this simple prototype represents the glow that could be transferred through the felt surface. It represents a concept developed with Martijn ten Bhömer of allowing different kind of communication over distance, where the ball would copy behavior applied to it by one person to the other “twin” ball.
